Sammy Lopez

Sammy Lopez (he/him) is a Tony Award-winning theatre-maker dedicated to uplifting historically excluded voices through the arts. He is a co-founder and producer at P3 Productions, which recently produced How to Dance in Ohio and Job on Broadway, with the upcoming Broadway-bound musical Gun & Powder in development. His recent co-producing credits with P3 include Sunset Blvd., The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, Just for Us, and A Strange Loop. Additionally, Sammy is the Creative Producer at New York City Children's Theater and a co-founder of The Industry Standard Group (TISG), currently co-producing Gypsy on Broadway, working to increase BIPOC representation among producers and investors. He has served as the program mentor for Theatre Producers of Color (TPOC) since 2022. A proud Syracuse University graduate, Sammy serves on the boards of New 42, TYA/USA, The Broadway League, CO/LAB Theater Group, and The Autistic Theatremakers Alliance.
